Divine Right

Now, almost sixty years after Malaya gained its Independence the ghost of those British officals stalks the corrdors of Putrajaya, masqerading as the absurd, probably deranged, figure of the current Prime Minister. Current, we hope, for very little more time.

It seems that everything that he touches he debases, and that includes the government money that he has stolen and the international reputation of Malaysia. One can, and does, deplore places like Zimbabwe or Somalia but that Malaysia should have descended to that level of lawlesness and evil reputation is not just a slur on the criminal Prime Minister but on all of us.

Malaysia? People will say. Oh that criminals’ paradise near Singapore. Dont think of going there. The Prime Minister steals anything; even your wallet!

That is where we are sixty years on. An international pariah in the grip of an international criminal!  Is that really the reputation Malaysians want?   If not DO something about it.
