Don’t Just Complain

Press reports quote Pejuang leader, Dr. Mahathir as stating that his application to register his political party, Pejuang, is being blocked by the Registrar of Societies who, he alleges, is following orders to that effect from the coup government PN.

It is, of course, open to the Registrar to offer any alternative explanations for the failure to register but if he does not  do so the Dr. has a simple remedy. He can prosecute the Registrar for a breach of Section 166 of the Penal Code, if necessary by way of a private prosecution should the authorities try to block the move.

Once in the dock the Registrar would have little alternative to telling the truth and so exposing PN to one more breach of the criminal law. Over to you Dr.M.
