Forestry!

The PN government has announced that the “forestry and timber industry” is now allowed to operate normally despite the Covid curbs imposed on everyone else. The “reason” given, absurdly, by the “minister” concerned was that replacement supplies of furniture destroyed in flooding etc could be available!

The real reason, of course, is that nothing can be allowed to prevent Sarawak’s Taib Mahmud and his fellow crooks from destroying what little is left of that State’s tropical forests. Who cares if forest workers contract Covid, or spread it to others? Certainly not PN whose only guiding principle is the maximising of personal profit.

The real question is why make an exception for timber only. Surely there must be other things from which PN could profit if covid was not in the way? Wake up PM8! You may be missing chances of further profit!
