Major Internal Re-shuffle.

Thus Home Minister Zahid speaking about the PDRM. If he had been referring to the pressing, long-standing need to clean house at Bukit Aman his statement would have been welcomed, if overdue.

But not so. All that is involved is that some police officers have been found to be corrupt and allowing criminal activity to continue unchecked. Now there is a surprise! Considering that the Force is headed by Khalid, who personally diverted the course of justice by letting arch criminal Najib know that a warrant for his arrest had been sanctioned by the former Attorney General, no clean up would be complete without Khalid’s transfer from Bukit Aman to Sg. Buloh.

That will certainly happen in due course but until it does the whole PDRM is tainted by criminality and no amount of “re-shuffles” will alter that. Apart from arch thief Najib himself, no one is better placed to know about the level of criminality in the PDRM than Zahid himself, as Home Minster. Since he does nothing about it the electorate can safely assume that his inaction is deliberate and criminal in nature.

He also knows the scale of the thefts of public money committed by his boss, Najib and yet does nothing about it. Why not? Does he think that if he acts he will suffer the fate of a Muyhiddin, or, worse, an Altantuya or a Kevin Moraes? No need for all that. He can simply order the arrest of Najib and arrange his trial for the theft of SRC money which even lap dog AG Apandi has admitted took place. Will he? Dare he? I must be joking!
