“In the budget, total development allocation for Sarawak and Sabah amounted to a mere RM2.049 billion….
Now compare this to the RM16.5 billion lion’s share of the budget allocated to the Prime Minister’s Department.
The PM’s Department is essentially an administrative body that includes agencies like the Election Commission and the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), which incidentally is not directly involved in development projects.
So where is the justification for RM16.5 billion allocation.
In 2014 Sarawak is expected to contribute over RM76 billion to the national coffers?”

The BN leeches have so settled in to the two Borneo States that, as the Sarawak native commentator Awang Abdillah here points out, the Prime Minister’s personal office gets 8 times more money than the whole of Sarawak’s development and infrastructure allocation put together in this latest budget. How does Taib Mahmud DARE claim that his policies are assisting the development of Sarawak, when his allies are sucking RM76billion out of the country this year and giving back merely RM2billion to development? Remember, it was Taib who signed away Sarawak’s oil back when he was Federal Minister for Natural Resources in the 1970s, in return BN has allowed him to take the country’s timber and native land rights for himself.
